We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in New Hampshire! The house is spotless, cozy with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The surroundings are absolutely serene—tucked away in a peaceful setting that made it the perfect retreat from the busy city. Mornings were especially magical with quiet views and fresh air, and evenings were relaxing by the cozy living space. The host Wally was warm, welcoming, and easy to communicate with, making the whole experience smooth and stress-free. If you’re looking for a place that combines comfort, charm, and true tranquility, this is the perfect spot. We would definitely love to return. Thanks.

We spent a lovely few days at Wally's Twin Mountain River House! We hiked Mt. Washington one day, and Franconia Ridge the next with our grown children and their partners. We were grateful to come home to a spacious house where we could relax, play games in the basement and enjoy a cool plunge in the nearby creek. The stars were spectacular!

This location was an amazing deal for the amount of space the house offers. Beautiful surroundings especially the small river in the back. Wally was an exceptional host and always replied quickly.

Wally was always available to answer the questions that we had! The Gale River was behind the house with easy access by a stairway. My Grandkids and my Kids spent many hours enjoying the River. You can hear the river from the house. We have been going to Polly's Pancake Parlor for 45 years Pollys was only 20 minutes away. The house was very spacious with 8 bedrooms. The kitchen was big enough to prepare meals for our large group. The was enough table seating for our group of 15 people, We enjoyed the evenings playing games at the tables and playing Pool and Foosball in the basement! Great house for a Big Family

This was our third time staying at this amazing house, and once again, everything was perfect. We just got back from a great time at the Twin Mountain house. Really there was no reason to leave. Two fire pits, badminton, latter ball, pool, lots of games and puzzles and my favorite feature was the River. The spot was beautiful and peaceful, and water was deep enough that you could float but not too deep that it was dangerous for the kids. So much room for our group to spread out and the teens loved the basement, and we loved sending them down there. Kitchen was stocked and the two kitchens worked out great for overflow. The host was very responsive each time I reached out with any questions. We cannot wait to go back again.

It's a beautiful house with a private access to nature especially the river. There are 7 bedrooms so it's a perfect place to stay if you are a bigger group. It is close to White Mountains, Crawford Mountain so if this is what you plan to visit then I recommend this place. Wally is an amazing host. Super responsive, proactive and always there for help. I highly recommend this place

Nice home in the white mountain area accessible to many amenities. We had a great friends, vacation and the house and room situation was very accommodating, allowing for many groups to be together without being on top of each other. Thanks again!
