Beautiful place, calm and peaceful! My kids enjoyed playing outside with the snow. Made our trip a memorable one to say the least. Wally was very helpful and responded quickly to any questions we had. It was an amazing experience! Thank you!

Spent 3 nights and was a very quiet and comfortable to start and end our busy days. Very close to Bretton Woods and trails. Also easy to get to Bethlehem, Littleton, Cannon, Woodstock and Lincoln. Was super easy to find. Sparkling clean place including the kitchen and both bathrooms. Was convenient to have a Ninja coffee maker for me and water heater for my wife’s tea. The refrigerator looked brand new. Linens, towels and face cloths also appeared to be new. Wally was very proactive following up about our stay though the house had clear instructions. Also liked all the house rules because they are the same as in our home. (Shoe removal, no food in the bedrooms etc) We will be staying here again for sure!

Great place to stay for our multi-generation family going on a ski vacation which is only 10 mins from Bretton Wood. We all enjoy very much our stay there because of the followings:- (1) The host, Wally, was easy to communicate and very responsive. He addresses the issues we have in a timely manner. (2) The house is spacious and our grandkids have so much space to roam and we adults have place to hang out without disturbing the kids while they slept. (3) The kitchen has a lot of gadgets, even silverwares and a high chair for kids and we love the convenience of having an air fryer. We cooked all our meals there. (4) The game room with the pool table, foosball, and different kinds of games, provide no down time for kids and adults alike. We surely love to return there for our annual family ski trip.

Wally's place was the perfect location for our large group to access downhill and cross country ski locations. Loved having multiple floors to spread out and the pool table was a hit. Would stay here again

This home was BEAUTIFUL and exactly what our big family needed! Most bedrooms had private bathrooms which is always a huge plus with a large group. House was cozy and eazy to relax in. Updated thermostats in all areas of the house made it very easy to be comfortable! The downstairs game room was a huge hit with the guys in the group and was a comfy setting for a friendly pool competition!!!! The dining room having 2 tables made it easy to have a family sit down dinner all together!!! We will definitely be booking again!!! We cant say enough about how pleased we were with this booking! Thank you Wally!!!

We had such a wonderful stay at Wally’s River House! The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The location was perfect — peaceful, scenic, and close to so many beautiful spots in the White Mountains. Wally was an amazing host — super responsive, kind, and made check-in incredibly easy. You can tell he truly cares about his guests’ experience. The living area and river view made it feel like the perfect fall escape. Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Twin Mountain or the White Mountains area!

This a lovely home with very comfy beds - perfect for hikers or those needing a nice place to be close to trailheads but also close to cute towns and restaurants. Great kitchen to cook your own meals and living space to relax in. Wally was very quick to respond.

We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in New Hampshire! The house is spotless, cozy with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. We spent a lovely few days at Wally's Twin Mountain River House! We hiked Mt. Washington one day, and Franconia Ridge the next with our grown children and their partners. We were grateful to come home to a spacious house where we could relax, play games in the basement and enjoy a cool plunge in the nearby creek. The stars were spectacular!
